Senior Marketing Analyst
Job Summary
MathWorks is seeking a data-driven marketing analyst to join our growing organization. Candidates must have experience conducting effective analysis, creating compelling data visualization and charts, training others to increase access to our data, and identifying trends that improve business performance. In addition, the candidate should be confident in making critical decisions independently and eager to play a vital role in the organization.
Responsibilities
- Build solid and strategic relationships with business leaders and clients
- Analyze data, formulate conclusions and provide summary analysis to leadership and key stakeholders
- Sound understanding of statistical concepts and research methods
- Monitor trends and elevate issues due to data variances
- Engage with customers to identify requirements and set expectations
- Manage multiple projects with quick turnaround
- Drive the development of reports, dashboards, and analysis to empower marketing strategy to execute
- Identify opportunities to improve usability of reporting and analytics reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with operational areas and analytics team members to implement related enhancements
- Coordinate collection of inputs as needed from stakeholders to document and publish applicable reports
- Work on projects that require considerable judgment and initiative in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or equivalent experience) is required.
- Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction.

- Ability to work cross-functionally and autonomously, and a strong desire to produce high-quality work
- 5+ years experience in business/customer intelligence, business analysis, or database marketing
- Ability to provide end-to-end analytic support, which includes data extraction, developing reports, and synthesizing data
- Ability to clearly explain technical and analytical information (verbally, written & in presentation format)
- Good working knowledge of SQL
- Experience with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Business Objects, SAS, etc.) and ability to tell a story with data.
