Description
The Serial port parameter defines the serial port that the target hardware uses.

Enter the serial port that the target hardware uses.
To find the serial port:
Go to Start menu > Control Panel > Device Manager > Ports (COM & LPT).
To expand the ports, that Windows recognizes, click the plus
(+)
sign. The port that you want isSTMicroelectronics STLink Virtual COM Port (COMx)
.x
is the number of the port.For example, if the serial port is labeled as
STMicroelectronics STLink Virtual COM Port (COM1)
, in the Serial port parameter, specify the serial port asCOM1
.
This parameter is enabled only if Communication interface is set as
Serial (using XCP)
.
