Since R2026b

Model Configuration Pane: Hardware Implementation / Hardware board settings / Target hardware resources / Groups / Host-board connection

Description

This read-only parameter specifies the CAN interface used for XCP on CAN external mode communication.

Dependencies

To enable this parameter:

  1. Set Hardware board to one of these boards:

    • Arduino® Due

    • Arduino Uno R4 Wi-Fi®

    • Arduino Uno R4 Minima

    • Arduino Nano R4

    • Teensy 4.0 (Arduino compatible)

    • Teensy 4.1 (Arduino compatible)

  2. Set Communication interface to XCP on CAN.

Settings

On-board CAN (default)

Use the on-board CAN controller integrated into the Arduino board for XCP on CAN external mode communication.

Note

Only Arduino boards with onboard CAN controllers support XCP on CAN external mode. Boards that rely on SPI-based CAN modules (such as MCP2515 shields) are not supported.

Recommended Settings

No recommendation. This parameter cannot be changed.

Programmatic Use
