Prerequisites

System Requirements

To develop a target based on the ARM® Cortex®-A Processor, you need the following MathWorks® software:

  • MATLAB®

  • Simulink®

  • MATLAB Coder™

  • Simulink Coder

  • Embedded Coder®

  • Embedded Coder Support Package for ARM Cortex-A Processors

For instructions on installing MathWorks products, see the MATLAB installation documentation for your platform. If you have installed MATLAB and want to check which other MathWorks products are installed, enter ver in the MATLAB Command Window.

If you have not installed Embedded Coder Support Package for ARM Cortex-A Processors, use the supportPackageInstaller function.

Recommended Skills

To develop a target you should:

  • Have experience developing applications for the intended hardware.

  • Know MATLAB, including MATLAB classes.

  • Be familiar with Simulink.
