Specify Chart Settings

You can control the chart data content and visualization settings for charts on your channel page.

1. On a chart, select the pencil icon to edit the Chart Options.

   

2. Specify Chart Options as described in the table. All are optional.

   

Chart Settings

Title	Plot title. Limit is 40 characters.	Timescale	Display only the first value in this many minutes.
X-Axis	X-Axis label.	Average	Number of minutes to display average over.
Y-Axis	Y-Axis label.	Median	Number of minutes to display median over.
Color	Hex value for chart color. See Hex color picker to choose hex color values.	Sum	Number of minutes to display sum over.
Background	Hex value for background color. See Hex color picker to choose hex color values.	Rounding	Number of digits to round values to.
Type	Plot style. Consider a MATLAB visualization for additional plot styles. 2-D and 3-D Plots (MATLAB).	Data Min	Minimum value to display on your plot. Larger values are not shown on the plot.
Dynamic?	Dynamic charts refresh automatically in the given number of seconds.	Data Max	Maximum value to display on your plot. Smaller values are not shown on the plot.
Days	Number of days for data display (do not use with Results.)	Y-Axis Min	Minimum Y-Axis value.
Results	Number of results to display (do not use with Days.)	Y-Axis Max	Maximum Y-Axis value.
Update Interval	Time in seconds for plot refresh.
