Where I can find a cluster to use?

2 views (last 30 days)
Hi All,
I manage to make the Genetic Algorithm to work in parallel (with the 2 cores of my processor) in order to optimize a Simulink model ( run the ga function from Matlab)
I now need to run lots of optimizations and I wish to know if it is possible to rent a cluster (or part of it) in order to speed up my project
Please consider I am new to parallel computing. I do not know if it helps but I used the "Discovery Clusters" button on Matlab (selecting both "On your Network" and "On Amazon EC2" options) but the search says that "No closters were found"
Lastly, the version I am using is Matlab r2013b and the toolbox I need to use are Curve Fitting Toolbox, Global Optimization Toolbox, and obviously Simulink
Any help on this will be very appreciated
Thanks in advance
Cheers
G

There's more information about what you need to do to set up EC2 here.
