How to write MATLAB Scripts for FLIR's ResearchIR?

I am trying to use MATLAB and ResearchIR together to analyze thermal images/videos, however I have only began learning how to use either of them and I have been unable to find a guide on how to code MATLAB scripts for input into ResearchIR or how I can easily access data from ResearchIR in Matlab.

Is there a guide or a documentation website that would be able to act as a guide to thermal image processing using MatLab and FLIR technology in tandem?
