Is it possible to run a Java program in a Matlab for loop (i.e. at each iteration, Matlab "ticks" the Java program), and have variables from the Matlab workspace being called and set by Java classes from within the Java program? (that is, certain classes in the Java program take Matlab workspace variables as inputs, and after doing some processing returns outputs to the workspace).
Almost all the Java + matlab examples I've seen are concerned with Matlab calling individual objects or methods that will operate on Matlab workspace variables, but no real exchange of variable data between Matlab and a Java program that the Java methods will use internally.
