How can i seperate AC and DC components from a pulse oximeter signal ?

I am in need to separate AC and DC components of pulse oximeter signal, in order to eliminate the DC component.

You can use a Lowpass filter with no gain to get the DC signal. You then take the output of this filter and pass it to a highpass filter with a signficalty higher gain. This gain and filter will seperate and amply the AC signal for further processing.
