the image acquisition app is not responding when in preview or acquisition mode. It was working a day ago and suddenly it is not working...

1 view (last 30 days)
the image acquisition app is very slow, I don't have a problem changing the camera parameters but in preview or acquisition mode it causes the system CPU usage to go up and I need to finally force close it after some time. It was working a day ago and suddenly it is not working...

  • Is this issue consistent or sporadic?
  • Are you facing this issue when the image acquisition app starts up?
  • How the system memory is behaving during this issue? Is it constantly increasing?

Thanks for answering.
Is this issue consistent or sporadic? -It was working at the begining, the one day it got super slow and the next day it stopped working.
◾•Are you facing this issue when the image acquisition app starts up? -No, I choose the camera in the Image acquisition app and change the parameters without a problem, only when I want to acquire images, the problem occures. Exactlt at the step: "logging Frame 1". If i use the command window to aquire images I get the timeout error.
◾•How the system memory is behaving during this issue? Is it constantly increasing? -Yes, it starts to constantly increase when I push the botton for the "start acquisition"
I dont know if this helps or not: I constantly get the warning that several properties (e.g. upperlimit for exposure, packet size) can not be set and should check the value.
