I want to show the image in a sequential way when I click the button in maltlab gui. how can I do that?

a picture must be shown for 10 seconds, then there is nothing for 10 seconds, then again for 10 seconds 2. the picture should be shown

You could have the pushbutton fire off a timer. In the timer callback you'd either display an imagem or display an all black or all white image (depending on what "there is nothing" means to you).
