How to calculate inverse fourier transform of a sinc wave?

1 view (last 30 days)
the sinc wave signal form is this X(ω)= 2*sinc(ω*T/pi);

inverse fourier transform of a sinc
Numerically?
Sample it, that is generate samples at equally-spaced T values, for a given omega.
omega = 1.0
tMax = 100.0;
tt = linspace(-tMax,tMax,1024).';
s = 2*sinc(omega*tt/pi);fig.png
sif = ifft(s);
plot(abs(sif));
grid('on');
You might want to try for different tMax values
