How do I find the distance ?

I am looking for solving this problem with training a deep learning based classifier or image processing techniques.

If you have the camera position and you know the pixel per meter ratio, you do not have to train am algorithm! Do you have these informations?

What do you mean by camera position? if you mean the angle view, yes I can find it, it is available.

I do not really know how can I figure out the pixel per meter ratio, does it come with the camera specification? or should I find it through calculation?

Hey, you can incorporate both the angle view and the camera's specification, majorly the resolution and other specific distance based parameters that can help you directly evaluate the said distance between the two points. The angle view along with the scalar values (specified) are enough to evaluate and you don't need a set algorithm for that. Hope that answers,

How would you as a human find the distance in a photo? You either need to know the distance from the camera to the object, or you need an object with a known size, so you can measure the pixel to meter ratio.
