installed, but will not run on windows 10

I have installed MATLAB 2019A on my laptop, purchased as an individual license, but it will not run but it will not execute. I downloaded it, installed it, activated it, but it will not run. When I double click, it momentarily places an underscore beneath the MATLAB icon in the start menu, but it quickly disappears.

Sounds like your systems is a bit slow. Check your system's task manager under 'Processes' to see whether Matlab.exe is present after double clicking on the MATLAB shortcut icon.

I recommend contacting Technical Support using the Contact Us icon (the telephone) in the upper-right corner of this page and working with them to determine why MATLAB isn't starting on your machine.
