How to divide 2D histogram into four quadrants

I have plotted the 2D histogram between x,y.
Now anyone help me to divide the histogram into four equal quadrants.
I have attached the sample 2D histogram. i need to split using horizontal and vertical lines attached to the figure.

You can manualy insert the line as required
data=randi(100,[10,10]);
hist(data);
grid on;
hold on;
x_data=1:100;
y_data=repelem(2,length(x_data));
plot(x_data,y_data,'r','linewidth',2);
