Does Matlab 2011b Recognize Japanese and Full width characters in its Simulink model

4 views (last 30 days)
Hello,
I know the process of getting unicode characters as far as Japanese and Full width characters is concerned, but my question is why Matlab 2011b is not able to print Japanese or Full Width Characters or even not able to recognise them when we put them in description of model or description of block or block name or annotations in simulink model? Is there an approach to make it possible for Matlab 2011b to accept Japanese and Full width characters in its Simulink Model?

I found one way to allow Japan characters be entered and printed in Simulink Model and command window which is
slCharacterEncoding('Shift_JIS').
Actually before opening any model we should run the above command
