how to calculate the inverse of a source wavelet?

Computation of the inverse of the source wavelete if accomplished by using the z-transform. The inverse of a wavelet, in fact, is abtained by polynomial division of its z-transfrom.
But i dont know how to get it using code, the length of the wavelet is about 1000. who can help me? urgently
