What is the meaning of [0.0;-1.5] in the following lines?

What does it mean by [0.0;-1.5]?

[0.0;-1.5] is a column vector with the two values 0.0 and -1.5. Mathematically, it looks like this:

Commas separte inputs in Matlab. So both the variable result and the vector [0;1.5] are inputs to the interpolateTemperature function.
