I have a Solar Panel Model found on file exchange as well as Toyota Prius HEV model. I will like to add the solar panel to the model so I can Simulate the amount of electricity than can be generated to the HEV battery. Can anyone please guide me through because I have little knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink.

We have a number of hybrid electric vehicle models that ship with Simscape products and that are available on the File Exchange. If you look at those, you will see where the battery and other electrical sources are connected to the electrical network, and you will be able to connect the electrical ports of your solar cell in a similar way.
This example of a power-split hybrid transmission shows a battery connected to a DC-DC Converter. You can see the documentation for this example here: Power-Split Hybrid Transmission

There is a lot of literature on installing solar panels to charge your car. The question is that doing this installation yourself will be very expensive.
