UI Figure windowstyle doesn't work - R2020a

11 views (last 30 days)
Hi! I am working on a multiwindow app and I cannot get that a window is set to modal. When I looked on the examples, the examples that MATLAB gives don´t work to me either. I get this error (the code is from MATLAB examples):
fig1 = uifigure('Name','Figure 1');
fig1.WindowStyle = 'modal';
Error: Functionality not supported with figures created with the uifigure function. For more information, see Graphics Support in App Designer.
Is there any patch or something to fix this?
MATLAB version: R2020a // Windows 7 ultimate
Thanks!

The functionality you're trying to use was introduced in release R2020b. The online documentation is for the most recent release, which as I type this is release R2020b.

@Steven Lord How can we keep the uifigure 'always on top' in older builds? (2019a or older)
