Frequency response speed using SM governor with droop__Simulink question

Hi,
I am using the synchronous generator with the synchronous machine governor with droop to power a grid in simulink.
The frequency response is very slow after a step increase in the load.
Can anyone let me know how to increase the frequency response speed?
