Problems in recognizing NI pci 6503 in data acquisition toolbox legacy based interface

Hi,
I have currently installed matlab version 2013a and the data acquisition toolbox version 3.3.
Previously I was controlling the PCI 6503 national instruments card using this same version of matlab (bu the 64bits one) and the session based interface of the data acquisition toolbox. I had no problems.
But, as for my application I also need to control the computer sound card, I have uninstalled the 64bit version and installed the 32 bits one.
According to the supported hardware list this card can be controlled either in session or legacy based interface mode.
But now when I use the command "dio= daqhwinfo" and "dio.InstalledAdaptors" the only answer I get is the soundcard 'winsound'.
The driver for the card is installed and the card shows up in the Ni Max .
Does anyone has an idea of what might be happening?
Thank you in advance!!
J.

Note: you can run both 32 and 64 bit MATLAB on the same system. You do not need to remove one to run the other.
