Is there a way to make a font size change persist between opening/closing the doc window in 2013a?

I recently upgraded from 11b to 13a.
I have a problem with doc help size being way too small. I can right click and zoom in/out to make it readable. The new font size will work on different pages within that window. However, if I close the window (even while keeping the same Matlab session open) and then call doc again, it will go back to using the same tiny font and I have to resize again. ...annoying. There used to be a way to define the HTML font under preferences, but that's gone.
While I'm on the subject of doc... is there a way to resize the contents box on the left side of the doc window? In 2011b, you could resize at will, but I can only seem to have it expanded or minimized in 2013a. I'd like to be able to resize the max expansion size.
Thanks in advance for any help.

On my system Win7x64 running 13a, the contents tab zooms along with the regular window. As for maintaining persistency across opening and closing, it does not appeare to be possible at this time.

Thanks for the response. At least I can stop searching for how to do this. Yes, please add my vote to the request.
Hard to believe they actually removed functionality in the upgrade, but oh well. I don't think I will revert to 2011b over this alone, but it really is annoying.
