Homework 5 - Advanced Digital Communications. BER of BPSK. Optimum threshold.
Simulate the BER of BPSK for different threshold values in MATLAB. In the lecture notes, you can find the MATLAB code for BPSK when the decision threshold is 0. Modify it for 0.1, 0.15, 0.20 and plot the BER curves on the same plot.
Comment on how much dB loss in the performance when the threshold changes.
Do not provide the MATLAB code but provide a single figure with four BER curves.
(It is very easy. You can solve the problem with a very small modification).
(You may want to increase the number of trials if the curves are not smooth.)
