    AUTOSAR Compositions in Simulink : Top-Down Workflow

    The AUTOSAR standard provides a mechanism to hierarchically aggregate the AUTOSAR software component called Composition Software Components. The composition is used to create units of higher complexity on a conceptual level. This will not affect the communication on the Virtual Function Bus or add any additional implementation because it is solely an architectural element. 

    Starting with R2017b, Simulink® and Embedded Coder® support the top-down workflow for AUTOSAR software compositions. The demonstration of the support for compositions is shown using a live script example.
