Are you looking for an opportunity to grow your career, learn new technologies, and help MathWorks customers develop new products? This pre-sales role is for an inquisitive engineer with experience in the Aerospace or Defense, Mining, Medical device or Industrial Automation & Machinery industries.
You will leverage your industry and technical expertise in robotics and autonomous systems, computer vision, image processing, and/or AI to understand customer workflows, challenges, and key business initiatives. With that knowledge, you will work collaboratively with a selling team to paint a vision of how MathWorks products and services can accelerate the pace of their development and innovation.
Travel can be expected up to about 20-30% generally throughout Australia & New Zealand.

Engage with prospective customers to understand their workflow and use the knowledge to recommend effective solutions.
Contribute to continual improvement of customers’ methodologies, best practices, tools and techniques for more effective product usage.
Develop demonstrations including programs, application examples, and simulations to demonstrate how MathWorks software addresses the needs of our customers.
Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations at both small and large audience venues.
Partner with sales representatives to provide technical guidance for selling strategies toward successful achievement of sales goals.
Advocate for the future direction of MathWorks products based on customer interactions
Identify new application areas and work with development and marketing to create compelling messaging and demonstrations
