AI: Driving the Industry Towards Greater Success
Manufacturers need every edge to stay competitive, and artificial intelligence (AI) is being touted as one of the key technologies to achieve that. This article discusses the benefits of AI, the barriers to its adoption, and how it is transforming manufacturing.

Nonetheless, the ability to do so depends on investment in the infrastructure that would enable engineers to take advantage of AI. Other challenges include finding skilled engineers and scientists who can build AI systems and ensuring the availability of high-quality data needed for training AI models. Fortunately, there is a growing body of knowledge such as deep learning models and a research community that can be turned to for help and support.
