Run on Hardware Board - ARM Cortex-R Processors

Build, deploy, and run models on connected hardware boards

Description

The Run on Hardware Board app enables you to build, deploy, and run models on connected hardware boards. In an external mode simulation, you can tune parameters in real time and monitor target application signals.

To run an external mode simulation, you:

  1. Connect Simulink® to the target application that runs on the target hardware.

  2. Start execution of generated code on the target hardware.

Using the app, you can:

  • Perform the steps separately or with one click.

  • Launch the Hardware Setup wizard that guides the setup of hardware and third-party tools needed for the support package.

After clicking the Run on Hardware Board app, the Hardware tab appears in the Simulink editor.

Open the Run on Hardware Board - ARM Cortex-R Processors App

In Simulink, on the Apps tab, click Run on Hardware Board. In the Run on Hardware Board pop-up window, select the Hardware Board.
