cdflib.getName

Name of Common Data Format (CDF) file

Syntax

name = cdflib.getName(cdfId)

Description

name = cdflib.getName(cdfId) returns the name of the CDF file identified by cdfId.

Examples

Open the example CDF file and get the name of the file. The path name returned for your installation will be different.

cdfId = cdflib.open("example.cdf");

name = cdflib.getName(cdfId)
name =

    'matlabroot\matlab\toolbox\matlab\demos\example'
% Clean up
cdflib.close(cdfId)
clear cdfId
