Visualize and analyze lidar data
The Lidar Viewer app is a visualization, analysis, and preprocessing tool for lidar data. The app provides these features:
Load and visualize point cloud data. The app can import
pointCloud objects from the workspace and read point cloud data from PLY,
PCAP, LAS, LAZ, PCD, and rosbag files. You can export the processed point clouds as PCD or
View and analyze point cloud data using the built-in camera views and color maps. You can also create and save custom camera views.
Use built-in preprocessing algorithms for ground removal, organization, denoising, median filtering, cropping, and downsampling of lidar point cloud data.
Import custom preprocessing algorithms for the lidar data. You can also create a user interface element to interactively tune the algorithm parameters.
Export and reuse the preprocessing operations performed on a point cloud as a function script.
