Specify whether an output port can share its memory buffer with an input port
Syntax
void ssSetOutputPortOverwritesInputPort(SimStruct *S, int_T outIdx, int_T inIdx)
Arguments
S
SimStruct that represents an S-Function block.
outIdx
Index of the output port.
inIdx
Index of the input port.
Description
The argument inIdx
tells the Simulink® engine which input port of S
can share its memory
with the output port specified by outIdx
.
inIdx
can have the following values:
Index of an input port of
S
that can share its memory with the specified output port.You must use
ssSetInputPortOverWritable
to tell the engine that the specified input port can share its memory with an output port.OVERWRITE_INPUT_ANY
The output port can share its memory with any input port.
OVERWRITE_INPUT_NONE
The output port must have its own memory buffer.
