Kindly see the picture above , How can I represent the SVD of a matrix as a summation form ? I cannot seem to get it. It says that alternatively it can be in summation form. If I calculate the SVD by the summation form how will I go about it ?
What will be si,ui and vi for N =1,2,3,N ?
  • More specifically I want to ask What will be si,ui and vi for N =1,2,3,......N ? for N = 1 , what will be the size of si , ui and vi ( assuming that priciple U,S,V matrices ( which came as a result of [U S V] = svd(my_image) ) were all 512*512) *
Looking forward for responses.
