How can I synchronize MATLAB with the program Noraxon for EMG measurement?

I would very much like to synchronize MATLAB with the program Noraxon, which is used for EMG measurement. Does anyone has some experience with this and would like to share it with me? The Noraxon kit has a sync transmitter. I would like to send pulses from the transmitter into MATLAB, or from MATLAB to the transmitter. Thank you very much in advance.

Hello,
What is the exact name of the device?
You can use the Instrument Control Toolbox to communicate with this device if it uses one of these protocols : GPIB, VISA, USB, TCP/IP, or Serial Port.

Thank you, the toolbox is really helpful!
The exact name of the device is 232 wireless sync transmitter from Noraxon U.S.A., INC. The sync in and out have both a jack connector. I cannot find which protocol it uses. The only thing that is in the manual is that it has "Standard digital sync channel for coordinating other devices (e.g. wireless sync trigger, evoked potential stimuli)".
