I got a trial license for Matlab R2012a and Compiler toolbox. Boh 64-bit. I put both files into the same folder and when I get to the point to choose the standar/custom installation, the toolbox does not show up in the custom option. It's just Matlab and nothing more. How can I install it ?

But that's part of the installation process. You must have canceled out, or else said that you'd do it manually (by email) and skipped that step but then never did it.

The problem was that the user needed to activate the trial to get the File Installation Key and license file for the installation.

Either MathWorks Sales missed the point of MATLAB Compiler and it is not included, or it is not in the same folder (although you say so). I recommend contacting installation support.

I wouldn't think that the compiler would be something that you could have a trial version for, but I could be wrong. After all, you could compile a program and have something that runs well past the 30 day trial. Anyway, do you see it listed when you type "ver" on the command line?
