getting error with estimateFu​ndamentalM​atrix expecting a numeric value

Hello,

Im trying out the example for stereo vision rectification http://www.mathworks.com/help/vision/examples/stereo-image-rectification.html and I keep getting the error

"Error using estimateFundamentalMatrix
Expected matched_points1 to be one of these types:

numeric

Instead its type was SURFPoints.

Error in estimateFundamentalMatrix>checkPts (line 302)
validateattributes(value, {'numeric'}, ...

Error in estimateFundamentalMatrix>parseInputs (line 275)
checkPts('matched_points1', matched_points1);

Error in estimateFundamentalMatrix (line 209)
r = parseInputs(matched_points1, matched_points2, varargin);"

Im copying it straight from the website so not sure whats going on. Any help would be appreciated.
