how to read .ascii files in loop?

i have many .ascii files .i need to read it. any multiply some columns with some values and again saving it in .ascii itself..using dlmread.i cn read my .ascii files..hw to put dlmread in loop to read all files and save it in .ascii itself..any idea

The logical would be using dlmwrite after the modification...
