Can you embed interactive 3D figure graphics into HTML or other documents?

I have on many occasions wanted to embed an interactive Matlab figure graphic into a web page or into some sort of picture file or other document such as Powerpoint.
For instance, after making a 3D mesh plot, I want to embed a graphic that basically "is" the mesh plot, allowing 3D rotations like in the matlab figure, and also allowing zooming like in the matlab figure, and possibly also the interrogate data point feature if possible.
Is this technology currently possible and/or available?
This would be similar to software I have used that allows you to embed a graphic of a 3D solid model (ex. a part model from Catia) into a document that is interactive and allow you to 3D rotate and zoom.
thanks! steve

It is available in Mathematica and other math products, but sadly still not yet available in Matlab.
