inputdlg displays dialog box in the second screen

10 views (last 30 days)
After updating Matlab from 2020a to 2020b (Windows 10 21H1) I found out that inpudlg function diplays dialog box in the second screen instead of the main one (I have two monitors). All figures are being shown correctly - only inputdlg has this issue. How can I fix it to be shown in the main screen?

I've just updated to R2020b and have this exact same issue. It's annoying that the dialog opens on the other monitor! Has anybody figured out a fix?

Check for any available updates and install them. If the issue persists, contact technical support.

Hi Richard, thanks for your reply and the suggestion - I never consider checking for updates these days, because updates usually seem to happen automatically! And, in a corporate environment, we don't all have the option of installing updates, but luckily I do.
I've installed the latest update for 2020b and the popup dialog now comes up on the correct screen. Thanks!

In the meantime I had to reinstall my OS and also change monitors' configuration, so after setting everything from scratch I didn't observe this problem again, but I belive @Aaron Wiegand that this answer solved the issue for him.
