Writing EXIF data to JPG

Hi,
How can I write EXIF data to a jpg file within matlab?
I searched on internet and there are tones of answer, but it seems they all use exiftool which is a command prompt tool that can be used to read write exif data. There are some files on Matlab FileExchange Central that also provide a wrapper to that tool. However, I was wondering if MATLAB supports this internally.

No, unfortunately, there is currently no off-the-shelf functionality to write EXIF data to an image file in MATLAB. You can only read EXIF data from an image file ( exifread and imfinfo ).
If this is something that you would like to see in MATLAB, send an enhancement request to support@mathworks.com.
