Is is possible to leave the dialog box created with inputs open after clicking ok?

Hi,
I would like to keep a dialog box open after clicking ok in order to always visualize the input data :
is it possible?

Yes. Simply create a dialog box which have an "Apply" button. That "Ok" closes the dialog is the standard look&feel, so changing this behavior would confuse the users.

Creating a function inside Matlab's toolbox folders requires Admin privileges. It is recommended not to work with such high privileges, because this includes the risk to modify Matlab's toolbox functions by accident. This is extremely hard to debug, e.g. if the debugger is affected.
If you create the function in a folder with user access, some subfunctions in the subfolder /private might be missing. You could copy them also.
