Hi Guys could anyone provides me the hint to create spectral display from an image in GUI using guide?

The GUI is already created which loads image. Out of which I need a cross-hair that gives me the spectral display in another axes of GUI. Note: ginput doesn't work. The cross hair goes behind the image plane.

Please post a minimal example code, which reproduces the problem.
