Matlab drive not syncing

My MatLab drive isn't syncing from my laptop to other devices. When I try to run open it within MatLab I get the message "Matlab drive cannot be found" and it tells me to open the drive connector. When I do so I get "failed to start matlab drive connector because another instance is still running". I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drive connector and restarting my laptop, and now I'm out of ideas.
Any help would be much appreciated :) Please note, I'm new to Matlab and may not know how to do obvious things.

Hi,
You can try the following work around:
1) Shutdown MATLAB Drive Connector.
2) Within the local MATLAB Drive folder, locate and delete a folder called ".MATLABDriveAppData".
3) Restart MATLAB Drive Connector (it may take some time to get back to an "up to date" status depending on how much content has synced)
Refer the discussion in the below thread:
Hope this helps.

Didn't work unfortunately! I should add that since making this post, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both matlab and the drive connector, and I now have a new issue that the drive connector won't download because it thinks it's already installed, so that's probably why this isn't working.
