Avoid Displaying the data simultaneously in the command window

Hi,
My codes usually starts from data in a csv file, so I use the command
***=readtable('***.csv')
then I manipulate this data. During the execution of the program I can see all the operation simultaneously in the command window. Do this displaying slow down my calculations? Can I avoid it?

Yes. You can suppress the display in command window, which also speed up your program when a lot of data is to be displayed:
***=readtable('***.csv');
% add the ";" to suppress the display in command window.
