How to change Matlab display format for numbers

One thing I dislike about Matlab is the default way of displaying numbers.

It would automatically divide everything by 1000 and then show it as 1.005 x 10^3, instead of showing 1005.21.

How do I change the setting so that my number will always be displayed the way they are, e.g.,

10005, 1002357, 103, 5821.3, etc.
