How did you get the curve ? By a functional equation ? Only by data points ?

f = @(x) [functional equation]
syms x
df = diff(f,x);
df_fun = matlabFunction(df);
x = xstart:0.01:xend; % define interval for which you want to get the slope
slope = df_fun(x);
plot(x,slope)
