Folks, I have a problem set that says: "Plot an alpha function, t.*exp(-t/tau)" Does that mean (t,t.*exp(-t/tau))? When i looked up alpha function in matlab, it has to do with transparency of the graph. Could there be any other explanation for this question?

t.*exp(-t/tau) is the alpha function, all you have to do is to plot it. if tau=1, it should look like an attached graph. cheers!
