How to implement a battery charger and discharging.

Anyone knows how to implement multilevel inverter for charging and discharging application by CCCV or other logarithm and in general in simulink.I'm very lost. so how to achieve CC & CV by cascaded multilevel inverter in 5 levles.

Hello Salah,
most converters have two loops, one for current, and one for voltage. When you switch from CV to CC, you simply remove the voltage reference loop and command just the current. How the loops are implemented is completely dependent on your topology, and there are many different multilevel topologies that might be relevant. TI provides a nice paper on doing this for dc/dc converters. You would use a dc/dc converter for battery charging. Inverters are AC converters. There are examples of this on file exchange as well.
