Some initial guidance with creating a microgrid model for typical mining application using simulink ?

Hi!
Need to create a microgrid model for a typical open-pit mine or stone-quarry application, (including stone crushers as distributed loads) using simulink/simscape.
Rather than completely starting from scratch, could someone help point out a good example maybe which could provide me with some inspiration in the inital stage?
Thanks!

Hello,
Here is an example to get started: https://www.mathworks.com/help/physmod/sps/ug/24-hour-simulation-of-a-vehicle-to-grid-v2g-system.html
You can find more here at the example page: https://www.mathworks.com/help/physmod/sps/examples.html?category=specialized-power-systems&s_tid=CRUX_topnav
and user created content can be searched here: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/
Also, there is free training for Simulink if you are new to the tool: https://www.mathworks.com/learn/tutorials/simulink-onramp.html
Regards,
Joel

this example is in 2020b. Do you have a license for simscape electrical?
if you do, typing power_V2G in the command window should open it.
