Computer freeze on Matlab web page

Hello,
The strangest thing happens when I search a function definition on the web using Opera or Chrome: the computer freezes for 2 minutes, the hdd led lights up. Using IE and Firefox the computer does not freeze. Has anyone encountered this problem?
P.S. I am using Win Vista.
