Hi there, I am looking (currently user of 7.6.0.324 (R2008a), mac version) for a way to modify the strange shortcut for evaluating selections used in the Editor window. Currently it is set to be SHIFT + F7. I would be happy to customize the key combination for this shortcut. Any information is appriciated.

Oh. Sorry. I am in 2011b. Other than general poking around in the Preferences menu, I guess I have no advice (other than contacting support). Not sure when it was implemented.

Hi, I am also looking for an alternative to avoid using Shift + F7 in order to evaluate a selected text in App Designer on macOS. Do you have any tips?
I am using R2023b, but I haven’t found Preferences → Keyboard → Shortcuts there. This option exists in the regular MATLAB editor, and it is possible to change the shortcut there, but it only works in the MATLAB editor and not in the App Designer editor.
Many thanks in advance!
Regards,
Camilo
